Yeah, if he said don't make it with peanut butter and they did then the cross contamination is moot.

And it is really stupid of you to NOT MENTION the allergy and to not realize that any shop that sells things with peanut butter additives WON'T be able to clean the machine thoroughly enough to not be a threat. I am so glad I was born and grew up before crazy food allergies became such a thing in the human population. It is no doubt a huge thing to deal with on a daily basis, but knowing about a peanut allergy, he was an idiot to go to a smoothie shop for his son.

Yeah, I don't know. With you though, there are two limits to this allergy context and what she made.

They have become much more prevalent in the population- some think it is because children aren't introduced to as many foods early on as they once were. Some think it is because more of the wealthier nations don't have to deal with GI parasites and bad water so the immune system goes into overdrive "out of boredom". We see the same thing in dogs as well.
