they should get Priyanka Chopra to play Cleopatra... she's got that exotic look, and it would be less drama vs. hiring a white actress... plus, it would be a huge draw at the box office, being every indian everywhere would flock to the movies to see her...

In all honesty, if they want to go for historical accuracy, then they need to get an eastern Mediterranean (Israeli, Lebanese, Syrian, Greek, Egyptian) actress and give her a sober portrayal. The Rome series played far too much on Roman perceptions of Eastern sorceresses and mysticism. The Ptolemaic dynasty was as imperial Greek as they came - most of them (until Cleopatra, and that's only because she was exiled for a time) couldn't even speak Coptic.

and of those two, lady gaga has a better look that matches what cleopatra has always been portrayed as
jolie isnt even that pretty and doesnt even fit the look no matter what color person is chosen for that role
we all know where its going any way and it will be a total train wreck bending to the SJW and the film will be a disaster as a result
cleopatra should be a stunning beauty queen, but the will end up with PC alternative that can pass the qualifications for that roles looks
