I'm good like that, but the half dozen of Beam & Coca-Colas I drink after that is what gets me.
That's what used to get me. I was barely eating and got up to 100 lbs overweight. That liquor/soda combo is miracle grow for your arse.

Not in Biden's America. Not only must we be tolerant, we must begin praising fat people for being able to carry that much weight around.
Additionally, there will probably be a new healthy person tax added to help find diabetes research.

Health insurance has already added these costs.

In fairness, generations of people have been reared in this culture of indulgence and processed food. They've been programmed to overeat and eat the wrong things. It's a shame for our entire nation that we've allowed big business to profit off of people's taste buds.

Go to the source of the problem. It's the food that's being mass produced. All the high fructose corn syrup, salt, and fat pumped into food to make it taste good to sell as much as possible. It's no wonder that we have a population of fatsos. We, as a nation, are feeding people the same way we fatten cattle. Plenty of corn.

This plus the misinformation spread about what truly causes obesity. Food pyramid is shite. People need to actually understand how hormones actually control weight gain as well as how truly bad processed foods are for you. They are almost completely devoid of nutrients which are removed as you mention.

Overweight and obesity were associated with nearly 1 in 5 deaths (18.2%) among adults in the United States from 1986 through 2006, according to a study published in the American Journal of Public Health.

That's like three 9/11's every week.

Oooohh, now do ‘drug and alcohol use’ in concert with deaths of college kids...

I understand in principle.

However, obesity is the cause of majority of non elderly COVID deaths. It's giving ammo to politicians and media.

However, you could argue that they'd just justify nonsense restrictions based on infections and not deaths.

Regardless, obesity costs $200 billion or so each year to America. That isn't chump change.

We also risk national security by having a nation of fat young people. Most young people of age to enter the military are unable to qualify because they are too overweight/obese. This is a real problem. It's not just about health costs and vanity. It's a national security risk, and it's only getting worse.

I saw a 300+ guy in cammo today buying shotgun shells today. I thought about fat shaming him but for some reason I hesitated.

Imagine being this simple minded. Which side of the political aisle glorifies obesity and pushes "plus sized" models as being the epitome of beauty?

Our food producers are at fault along with modern technology like TV, computers and appliances. Education works better than fat shaming.
