Can we start by stop glorifying fatties in commercials? All that is saying is being obese and unhealthy should be celebrated... all the while our healthcare costs skyrocket.

In fairness, generations of people have been reared in this culture of indulgence and processed food. They've been programmed to overeat and eat the wrong things. It's a shame for our entire nation that we've allowed big business to profit off of people's taste buds.

Go to the source of the problem. It's the food that's being mass produced. All the high fructose corn syrup, salt, and fat pumped into food to make it taste good to sell as much as possible. It's no wonder that we have a population of fatsos. We, as a nation, are feeding people the same way we fatten cattle. Plenty of corn.

This morning for breakfast I ate

2 eggs, 16oz of egg whites, two slices of bread

Around 10am I’ll eat 2 think bars

For lunch I’m going to eat 7oz chicken, 100g of rice and an apple

Then I’m going to hit the gym and run 3 miles

Post workout I drink a shake with a banana and two scoops of protein

For dinner I’ll eat chicken and rice again.

Around 2200 calories, 240g protein, diet split 70/30 of non protein calories carbs to fats. Its not hard to not eat like a slob

Fat people are a massive burden on healthcare
Burden on society in general.

Fat people, by virtue of being fat, exhibit poor decision making skills. In essence, fat people enable scammers by demonstrating they are easy prey.

Fat people are responsible for all the scam/spam phone calls I get everyday.

Fat people are responsible for the homeless beggars and interstate exit scam beggars.

Fat people are responsible for this Wu Flu pandemic by eating all the normal decent foods and causing Chyna to feed on infected bats.

If a person wants to be overweight, that’s on them and not me. It’s not my place to judge anyone.

I understand in principle.

However, obesity is the cause of majority of non elderly COVID deaths. It's giving ammo to politicians and media.

However, you could argue that they'd just justify nonsense restrictions based on infections and not deaths.

Regardless, obesity costs $200 billion or so each year to America. That isn't chump change.

I still don’t care and am not going to fat shame or judge anyone. Just curious to all the keyboard warriors, how many of you would walk up to someone and lambast them for being overweight?

I'm good like that, but the half dozen of Beam & Coca-Colas I drink after that is what gets me.
