No that’s Gen X. Gen Z’s are in high school right now or barely missed the millennial cutoff.

ETA: I see I’m late to the correction party...my bad.

Unless you're performing rocket surgery, or the person seems like the dumbest person you've ever met, hire the attitude.

Also be careful, younger millens and older Zs are amazing at bullshite and end up sucking something fearce on the job.

While I agree, let’s you be honest. You hired them because they are a cheap option.

This is why "experience" rates low for me when it comes to job qualifications. I don't want top have to un-train people before training them the right way.

Yup, great attitude and everything. Then the millennial comes in for their shift and as you are going over with them what happened the past 12 hrs, they are busy sitting down, on their iphone texting their friend. After 5 minutes i said you heard what i said. He said yeah. I said, what did i say. Spaced out look. I said, you can't put your phone down for 5 minutes while i go over with you what you need to do. He said, sorry, my friend is having an issue. I said, are they going to commit suicide? He said no. I said, well, their arse can wait for 5 minutes while i go over with you what you need to look out for and do on your shift. Great attitudes but idiots when it comes to common sense. Wouldnt hire a millennial if they were the last person on earth and my life depended on it.
