Most people would just claim to be an MD, but you went the extra step to overshoot the mark lol. You win the internet for today.
I wouldn’t claim that which I don’t have (an MD). But I do claim to have at least taken coursework in it. (Really anybody can if they want. Just sign up to be a non degree-seeking student at your alma mater and sign up for Biology 400 or 500 [whatever the immunology course designation is at your alma mater]). In any case, that football analogy is gibberish.

This really shows your lack of self awareness that you just doubled down on this laughable statement. The joke is like 10,000 feet over your head.

Not sure if you are trying to come off as a smug a-hole…..but you really are

Remember when the Delta variant was going around & they blamed the unvaccinated? I remember
The commander in chief of the free world said verbatim that the U.S. is losing its patience with the unvaccinated. It was an outright threat and virtue signal to corporations to immediately do something against its unvaccinated employees. Weaponing one's livelihood and paychecks against them. I remember just like you.

Let me ask you something. If the vaccinated are continuing to produce spike protein why are their antibody levels dropping so quickly and they are able to continue to get infected?
You can’t have it both ways.
Either they are continuing to make spike protein which should make their antibody levels stay high or the spike protein goes away and their antibody levels drop.
So which is it?

Imagine still following COVID numbers

For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine.
Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted, according to an analysis conducted for The Health 202 by Cynthia Cox, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation.
quote:
Cox, like many experts, says she’s not surprised by the ratio shift. There are a few reasons: At this point in the pandemic, a large majority of Americans have received at least their primary series of coronavirus vaccines, so it makes sense that vaccinated people are making up a greater share of fatalities.
Individuals at greatest risk of dying from a coronavirus infection, such as the elderly, are also more likely to have received the shots. Vaccines lose potency against the virus over time and variants arise that are better able to resist the vaccines, so continued boosters are needed to continue to prevent illness and death.
The BA.5 omicron subvariant became dominant in July and consistently accounted for the majority of new coronavirus infections across the United States until earlier this month. The highly transmissible strain fueled a surge of new infections, reinfections and hospitalizations throughout the summer.

Never could say that.

But hey why not practice therapeutic nihilism and let people get realllllly sick instead of using cheap protease inhibitors to nip it in the bud.
Muhhhhh siiiiiiuhnce?
Am I saying it correctly?

Also:
quote:
Let’s take a look at deaths in August, when the highly contagious BA.5 variant reached its peak: That month, unvaccinated people aged 6 months and older died at about six times the rate of those who had received their primary series of shots. People with one booster dose were even better protected.
Unvaccinated people over the age of 5 had about 8 times the risk of dying from a coronavirus infection than those who received a booster shot.
Among individuals who were eligible to receive additional booster shots, the gap is even more striking. Unvaccinated people 50 and up had 12 times the risk of dying from covid-19 than adults the same age with two or more booster doses.

Sorry, the professor didn’t teach us in football analogies. Lots of somatic hypermutation, but nothing about blitzing.
Whether he’s right or not, people use analogies to explain things others might not understand. It’s actually a common thing.

The problem is, once you subtract all the football analogy distractors, it doesn’t make any sense. Why would the mRNA vax “override” the innate or acquired defenses? That’s not how the immune system works.

Stop bringing facts in here, its more fun to pretend that the vaccines are killing people

It never was. Followed that science right off of the cliff.
