Looks like Mt. Rushmore is next in line then...

So you've been twice in a span of twenty years and specifically looked for black people? This is the problem right here. How about just trying to enjoy yourself and stop looking for shite to cry about. I live near Atlanta and have for 30 years now been to Stone Mountain multiple times a year every year. There are PLENTY of black people, Spanish people, Indians, Asians...etc. It's a great park, most of the employees are black also. Stop being so fuccking sensitive to shite that you probably know very little about.

I just brushed up on it. I forgot that Borglun quit the project. So he really had nothing to do with it.

He only carved a head and it was scrapped.

Just don't make every street MLK

Georgia even gets a shortcut in doing that, they can start by renaming all the streets named "Peachtree".

Yeah, that's annoying as a tourist.

"Take Peachtree Avenue, to Peachtree blvd, turn on Peachtree street and look for Peachtree lane, if you hit Peachtree place, you've gone too far. "

1. Determine cost to destroy said sculpture
2. Get approval from voters for replacement sculpture
3. Let those offended pay for both

Once there's WORK involved those offended will disappear.

Too bad whites don't have the balls to demand that every MLK statue and street be bulldozed or renamed. You know that serial womanizer and communist who Jackie Kennedy herself called a "terrible phony."

I would hazard a guess that today Stacey's mom does not have it "goin' on".

I have seen it in person and it is massive. Good luck to the efforts to remove it. It would be a serious undertaking of both time and money.

And in the end there would be an ugly scar on the mountain.

Never fails.

One of these nitwits gets an idea...suddenly all the rest of the nitwits fall in line like it was a good idea all along.

These are "leaders" who are unable to think for themselves. And it shows.

I bet it would take a day to do, maybe a month to prep and $1.5m in tnt and labor.

Democrats don't care about that shite. New Orleans has 3 gaping eyesores now (nobody really saw the Liberty Place obelisk where it was).

I really think they believe that if they're going to govern shitholes, they need to look like shitholes.
