My favorite wrestler was Kevin Nash. When WWF, he was Diesel then in WCW he was by his name Kevin Nash.

I loved both. But I was a huge fan of the Horsemen. And imo WCW/NWA wrestlers had the greatest promos.

Great time to be a wrestling fan. I remember flipping back and forth between the two as friends and I watched Nitro and Raw weekly. I’d say WCW earlier with the NWO and Sting but that wore out then WWF was better from around 1998/1999 and on. DX, Austin, Rock, etc were the shite back then

WWE once the Rock, DX, and Stone Cold we're in full swing. WCW at the beginning but it got old when the NWO kept growing and Sting did the weird Wolfpack thing. Stopped watching then.

This is easy. WWF prior to ‘97, WCW ‘97’-‘98; WWF after ‘98; went to HS in 2000 and stopped giving a shite

Early and mid 90's it was WCW all the way
Then something crazy happened. DX over with WWF started doing the NWO schtick better than the NWO. Couple this with the rise of Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foely who was pure comedy gold, around 97 WWE started consistently putting on better shows and I switched over.

Got into both around the same time in early 95. I was more interested in WCW until sometime in 98 and it became even. Then I gave up on WCW in early 99. What a privilege it was to be a wrestling fan during the best period in the history of the business.

Vince could get someone over and make them a real star. What did WCW ever homegrown create besides goldberg..which was 1 dimensional. Sting who would have floundered if not for the NWO angle..and his year of silence..Everyone else there, made an impact cause they were made by Vince at some point.
Even the wcw stars who left, like Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Austin, Foley, etc were able to flourish.
Eric bischoff and Ted Turner didnt know the business like McMahon. Vince is smarter and ran his company better.
The only thing WCW had to offer was fast cash and days off because the roster was over saturated. Their storylines blew, they had 1 NWO angle that they milked the shite out of. And even that was based off of Vince's guys showing up taking over.
And the audience believed 2 guys could come in and clean house there.
Much like how they tried to repeat when luger showed up at the mall on their first nitro.
My favorite period in wrestling was 1996-1999.
