If I could disable certain alerts I would use it for every commute. But I don't need an alert every time there is a damn car on the shoulder.

Wouldnt this encourage people to mess with their phones while driving?

Of course not. Only passengers send updates.

Nary a one of those speed traps was around when I passed through on the road in TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, NC, TN over the last 4 months.

If there's no cops where there used to be one, hit the thumbs down button and help a baw out!

I use it all the time and like it a lot. I do find it funny though that it makes you confirm you're a passenger if you try to input a destination while the car is moving, but if it needs you to input data that requires the app to be useful (ie noting traffic, an accident, cop, etc) that's totally fine to do while the car is moving.

Waze will sometimes take you the bass ackwards way to get somewhere simple, and it's for no reason at all. It also sent me into the MS River when I was trying to go to a plant on River Rd two miles away

Yea drivers can easily report police and accidents

You used to be able to update gas prices of places as you drove by but they changed it

They took away plenty of the points stuff because of people not looking at the road

Waze suddenly decided that Westpark Tollway and Grand Parkway don’t exist. So it’s useless to me now.

Used to, but the last year or so it seems that Google Maps does a better job avoiding traffic, and also gives you heads-up on radar, like Waze.

Same here.. really liked Waze about 5 or 6 yrs ago, in like 2013 and 2014.. but then i started getting a lot of pop up ads on the app.. plus i found that Google Maps does a better job of adjusting your route automatically if you miss a turn, or decide on something different than the way it recommends you to take.

I still use Waze occasionally, mostly on long road trips just to compare what it’s telling me to what Google Maps recommends.. but for my daily rides, i’m a Google Maps guy.
