What? How did you take my asking if the State should even cross because it's pointless to me white knighting for him? Witness makes it sounds like he saw the red SUV go down main street AFTER he took the women back to the shelter.
Not sure there was enough time for that so I could see the State try to get his testimony thrown out.
ETA - not that his testimony helps Brooks at all...

The most surprising thing about that previous witness isn't that he is a sex offender but that he is only 34. Yikes.
I think they let this woman go without cross as well because she doesn't seem to know anything. I wonder if he will have any witnesses they feel the need to cross.
