I think the state is concerned about him being put into the other courtroom.

The jury has to really hate him this morning. They have been brought in and out like musical chairs.

I think not pushing the boundaries the better. Don’t give him any ammo in potential appeals even if he’d lose

This interview makes him look really bad. He had just murdered multiple people and he’s that animated about his gf drinking?

He is acting like nothing happened relative to the parade.

State is still planning to rest their case today, right?

Yesterday, they said they were planning to rest on Wednesday. With all of these delays, I don't know if they are still on schedule. Last week, they said the jury would see the car today, but I haven't heard that mentioned today.

Not much need to drag this out. I think the jury will take longer to fill out the paperwork than decide guilty on all counts.

The showing that faking to the jury was great.

it's as much for any appeals court that will end up reading this court record as it is for the jury

I think this detective is likely the longest witness they have left... he might even be their final witness but I don't know that by any stretch

story of this trial so far... Brooks' delays & super long cross exams have drug this trial out for so much longer than it needs to go

if Brooks had a real lawyer representing him... the guilty verdict would've been rendered already I imagine

they've been talking about going to see the car for a while now... but I haven't heard anything about taking that trip over the last couple days

Mr. Brooks... you could've ended this interrogation by saying "I'd like to speak to a lawyer"

He also could've ended this whole trial by asking for a lawyer and saved everyone some time

I tend to agree with this unless they go through each count and try to link up the proof with each count.
