Kinda feel bad for the mom and grandma. Judge just shite on them.....

I get that they had some doing in his upbringing, but she negated what they said as an excuse. The mom and grandma shouldnt have to live with this the rest of their life either

This is why emotional people shouldn't be judges.

Stop with the synopsis of the trial.

Sentencing is sentencing. We don't need to relive the trial.

Well, the mom did ban him from her home for violent tendencies yet still claimed it was someone else’s obligation to get him help. Neither of them took any accountability

100% agree.

This should be done now...give his sentence. She is either a)campaigning for SC of Wisconsin or b) trying to eliminate any type of appeal

Her moment in the limelight is about to be over too, she’s going to use every second she can to stay there.

He doesn't consent to his sentencing.

Bold strategy.

Not that I really understand any of the points sovereign citizens think they're making, but this idea that you somehow are able to provide or deny "consent" in this situation is really far fetched to me.

ETA: She really should have gone with the gagging at this point. He doesn't have any need to provide commentary or response so his ability to do so is irrelevant.

She isn’t dragging it on. She needed to address the mental health issue they raised with actual evidence

Don’t do criminal law, but I would be shocked if there isn’t caselaw regarding these issues and not giving oral reasons to support her ruling

People like this aren't created in a vacuum. His family has a failed him at every turn in making him resemble anything approaching a decent member of society.

My 6 year old is being an absolute a-hole half the time right now. Instead of making excuses for her, I'm working hard to actively correct the issues. It's hard, but necessary to make her a better person.

ETA Not to mention mom and granny did nothing but make excuses that are a total load of bullshite. I can't respect that.

It could be supported in her written ruling, it doesn't have to be introduced verbally.

All that whining and crying and now, he's defiant again.

I hope she leaves him in the other room for the duration even if he asks to return.

I don't see why she feels the need to repeat all of this. She can still say what she wants to say for the victims succinctly.

The dude should be fed his fingers, one at a time, over the course of days.

For starters...

Agree. She is not leaving any options at all for appeal. He already cant appeal for ineffective counsel.
