Salt. You definitely arent from S. Louisiana if you never tried eating watermelon without salt on it.

I'm really shocked that some of you grew up in the south and have never salted your watermelon. You boys had shitty parents/family.

Grew up salted. Wife did not. I do it both ways nowadays. I also salt it when I don't want my wife eating any of my watermelon.

The sweet/salty/spicy combination is legit.

I'm equally shocked this is a thing.

My mom didn't like it, so she kept it away from me. I honestly need to call my sister and see if she ever heard of this nonsense.

That's the stuff I was talking about earlier. Mortons is better on watermelon. That's some kinda Mexican abomination.

If you open a melon and it's yellow, that's like pulling a hot chick's panties down and it stank. It'll do but not first choice.

Definitely salted, though i enjoy it equally without salt. Just a different type of flavor, but very tasty.

You can even use Tony's. Sprinkle some on some ripe mango... pure awesomeness.

The Mexicans put that stuff on snoballs around here(Dallas). They usually get Mango flavor and then sprinkle that stuff... Looks fricking gross.

I don't eat watermelon b/c it always gave me a stomach ache. Finally googled that and apparently "watermelon sickness" is a thing. It sucks b/c I fricking love watermelon.
