re: Watermelon.....salted or naw

I barely put salt on anything... sure as frick not putting it on watermelon.

I probably ate half a watermelon by myself today. Half of that was salted and other half not.

Not me, nor would I have even thought this would be an idea. Watermelon alone is fine. What is the salt for?

I assume asidic reasons. It is always fun to learn something new when you have gotten old.

I have never heard of salt on watermelon until this thread, and I am genetically predisposed to liking watermelon so my opinion matters.
