My wife gave me a Planet Ocean last year as an anniversary gift. It's definitely a heavy watch but not uncomfortable to wear at all.

Try picking up an Omega Ploprof on the shark mesh bracelet it is the heaviest watch I have ever owned, just under 8oz.

As for the PO if you ever want to completely change the wearing experience switch it to the OE rubber strap with the deployant clasp, it is like wearing a completely different watch. I am generally a bracelet person on dive watches but that strap is amazing.

I've asked you twice now, and I don't believe you've ever responded, so I will ask again...

Are you and the lovely Mrs. Obtuse1 interested in adopting a relatively fit, attractive, olive-skinned 47-year old child? I promise to be a good boy and keep my room clean!

Given you are 5 years older than my wife adoption might not work and sadly you may also be too old to be her pool boy toy so maybe moderator in chief and hamster wrangler might be a more suitable title.

I have a coworker that has an Omega Seamaster from 2003 that is in mint condition that I want to buy, but he wants $2k for it. It has all the boxes and papers but I would like to give him no more than $1600.

Look, I understand the hesitation...I do. That said, this is really a play for me and you to become closer (in a non-sexual way). So, let's look at it from another angle then...do you have any brothers? Would you like a younger brother that you could buy some beer for, make fun of, and buy watches for on special occasions and holidays?

I'm open to other suggestions.

I have that exact watch (I believe from 2002, though) with no papers, but would sell to you for less than $1600...

I've seen pre-owned models of that watch listed for over $2,000 (and sometimes $3,000). I'm not sure if people are paying quite that much, but if they weren't you likely wouldn't see them listed that high.

If it truly is in mint condition $2,000 probably wouldn't be a crazy number if you have to have it. Offer to split the difference at $1,800. It goes for about $4,000 brand new on the grey market. Tell your co-worker he can send me the commission

I like them taking the Explorer back to 36mm. The proportions looked a little off at 39.

Definitely wouldn’t hate it if they dialed the Exp. II back to 16550 dimensions and kept the orange hand.

No brothers so I will let the wife know you are coming, your bedroom is at the back of the house will leave the light on in it and the key is under the rock. I do expect a lifetime TD premium membership and... a mod password.

Is it a 2531.80? 41mm right not the mid-sized 36mm.

I think it is 41 mm. This was when he got it appraised back in September 2020. He said he would sell it to me for $2k. I've been letting it simmer.

I have a Omega Seamaster, 2 tone Rolex and a G Shock MudMaster 1000.

I wear the MudMaster more than any of them.
