Sexy Batman, love that they went with the Jubilee for the bracelet.

want to try on and possibly purchase a Pro in the next year.
I tried on the BB Pro. It felt short and fat on me. It was on a strap vs a bracelet so that may have contributed as I usually prefer a bracelet. Good looking watch but it wasn’t right for me.

I always go bracelet, and I could definitely see how it looks even taller on a strap due to the shape of the case. I definitely need to try it on. I like the aesthetic of the Pro more than the Pelagos 39, but one of those 2 is most likely going to be my next purchase.

Excellent choice. Congrats. I'm a tudor fan. Were I to go back in time, I'd opt for a 79220 over the 79230 that I own (mostly don't like it because of the huge wall of steel that is the case side oppisite the crown).
For your next act, I would wholly endorse some iteration of a Speedy Pro, as others here have suggested. Familirize yourself with the different versions, find one you like in your price range and go for it. Don't sleep on the hesalite versions.
I'm currently in a watch rut. I only have two watches outside of the safe right now. My 16610 Sub date that I bought in 1989 and a GO Senator Moon-Phase Power Reserve that I've been wearing with a for various holiday occasions. I think I'm about to put the Sub up for a while in favor of the 16710 Pepsi or maybe even the BB58 blue.
I'm gonna edit to add this pic - interestingly I don't really think this watch wears fat on the wrist, though you can't really tell it from this view.

I want Tudor’s Back Bay Bronze bigtime…almost pulled the trigger in May with my bonus…but paid for a vacay instead. Been regretting it.

Just had a customer with a Grand Seiko. $9100 or so. Didn't feel like that type of watch. Very light. Not what I would spend that kind of money on. He's a collector and already has Rolexes and the normal high end brands.
Titanium? Spring drive or high beat

I am a Rolex guy, but also like Omega. I bought my first Omega back in the spring and I have been very impressed. It is one of those watches that a stranger can tell it is really nice, but have no idea what brand it is (except for watch enthusiasts).
I wear it more often than my Rolex Explorer.

Thinking about a birth year Speedmaster for one of the kids
I have a Rolex from the year my wife and I met - just worked out that way, but I’ll likely leave that for the kid.
Well, she’ll be left all of them, so I guess it doesn’t really matter…

Somehow I missed this thread the first time but I just happen to be wearing my 79220N today. I prefer the ETA based 79220 with smiley/rose dial to the 79230 with the inhouse shield dial for a number of reasons.
The 79220 is a cool reference in that it was the first of the Black Bay line which "made" modern Tudor and the last of the ETA-based dive watches which "made" early Tudor. The noir (N) was only made for 6 months so out of the original 3 BB 41mm colors (burgundy, blue, and black) it likely was produced in the smallest numbers and could possibly become the most collectible of the Black Bays*, prices are already an indication that is true.
* not counting special editions like the green 79230 from Harrod's
While Tudor is wringing out the Black Bay like Omega does with the Speedy (which doesn't bother me) I think the BB and Tudor, in general, represent one of the best values in watches in their price range.

Nope. That's what makes it a good one.

My beef with Blancpain is for that much money you ought to get a metal bracelet.
