I don't like Tags but this should be covered under warranty. Honestly I would buy an Omega or Breitling if you are in that price range. They are just better made and more respected as a brand.

or Omega?
Tag aquaracers can be had for $1,200ish. I feel like Omegas are usually like $3-4k, but I will defer to Broke on this question.

I'm sure that Tag will take it back and repair/replace for free.
This was my initial thought, it's a luxury item so I'd expect top notch customer service, but the manager at the TAG store was really sketchy about it.

Not meaning to hijack...what watch winder does the OT Board recommend?

Lee Michael's will send it back to Tag for ya. They aren't sketchy about anything.

For a two month old watch that has completely stopped working?

What do you mean by crapped out? Like there's just no movement, or is the movement screwed up? If it's just no movement, and it's a quartz movement, might just be a battery issue. If it's something else like the second hand is stuck or something random, I'd take that back. If it's obviously not damaged from physical abuse and the store has any kind of customer service, I'm sure they'll fix the issue. Might be sending your watch off though. I doubt they'd just hand over a new one.

I've had this one for a couple of years. Really nice watch, and I have yet to have a problem with it.

Had this Tag for a few years now. Never game me any trouble.
ETA- I think it's a Heuer Monaco but don't quote me on that

I got a Steinhausen a few years ago, and it has worked perfectly fine. Don't know why it needs so many different speeds though

I have a 10 year old Aquaracer Automatic - no issues whatsoever and I wear this thing everywhere.

No but I buy all of mine pre-owned so they are in that price range. I bought an Emergency for $1200 and a Chrono Avenger M1 for $1100

Oh and if you get it fixed, it's more than likely a 3 or 4 month wait to get it back.

Didn't take that long for me. Maybe a month at the most.

I don't know what Tag does but a good brand will completely disassemble the watch, clean it, and regulate it for 3-5 days before polishing it and sending it back. That can take a while.

No movement after winding - everything turns fine with the crown out

Say broke, what's your opinion on purchasing a hesalite Speedy Pro second hand? I'll probably be looking for the reference immediately before the current reference. I just don't see the justification in paying $4400 for the new suitcase sized box and additional nato strap.
What would you say is a fair price for a watch at 90% condition or so?
Anything I should be cautious of and look out for?
