Some TDer’s with more knowledge than me know a good place for watch discussion/buy/sell?

There are a ton of various sites but WatchUSeek still has the most traffic and a very varied user base. If one is just interested in true high-end brands or Rolex/Tudor there are better sites. Rolexforums, Omegaforums, and Timezone are all excellent within their niche. I do not really do the reddit watch forums but they are several there with decent traffic, I can't attest to the quality.

Omega reddit forum is mostly wrist shots. Rolex forum is a lot of flexing about the price of their watches.

The majority of discussion has switched to Instagram (which sucks and is more about flexing) and WhatsApp.

No doubt this is true for many folks, but at least some view it as a hobby of sorts, like collecting cars, but cheaper.
It's kind of like a club, because other watch people will notice and perhaps compliment a nice timepiece.

For legit watches, most posts here have been solid.
For reps, reptime on reddit is basically the wild west with some of the most lenient mods on the planet. WD-Watch Discord as well is pretty solid. Also, if you ask the right people, there's a few solid FB groups where you can literally find anything watch related. Including real, rep, and franken.

That’s awesome baw…I just recently purchased my first real “adult watch” after years of collecting G-Shocks. Rolex Date Just. Love it, but now I want a Tudor…and a Hamilton…and probably an Omega lol. Will try to figure out how to get the picture on here in a bit.
