About an hour ago my girlfriend (no pics) runs in yelling and screaming. Turns out she had been stung by a wasp out on her balcony.

I go to investigate and there’s a medium-sized nest on the stem between the ceiling fan and the ceiling. A bunch of those frickers swarming all around it ready to attack. They weren’t yellow jackets but they had yellow and white stripes. Weren’t as big as hornets though. I am curious as to which species they were.

I didn’t have any pesticide nearby so I decided to get creative. I poured some bleach cleaner into a cup and doused the nest with it. One by one, those frickers dropped dead to the floor.

Am I a bad person for laughing as they died slowly in painful agony, or should I be happy for ridding the house of a nuisance?

Hair spray FTW. Then crush them as they lay frozen.

There are very few things I enjoy watching as much as a nest full of wasps coming out one by one and getting blasted and dropping dead

Just watch where you step now

Dish soap in a cup of hot water is the cheapest and easiest way to get it done

Wasps are vile, useless creatures.

Southern paper wasps would be my guess from that description.

I have found nothing more effective at wasp killing than good ole gasoline.

Magically that’s not accurate. He died of a ruptured appendix. Whether or not it was caused by a college student sucker punching him in the stomach remains debatable.

Set nest on fire.

Turn on fan, high speed.

Watch those MFers burn.

Then watch porch and house burn.

No more wasps.
