Unless you did something illegal on the phone, I wouldn't worry about it. There's also nothing illegal about you surfing porn on their phone although that is blocked I'm sure. They can fire you for it but you haven't done anything illegal. Unless you were hooking up for drugs or looking at child porn maybe. But short of that, there really isn't a damn thing they can do.

Assuming any of this is real. The employer should have been more strategic in fireing him and allowing him to pick his own password for the phone.

Go download literally the maximum amount of legal porn you can fit in there.
Then wipe all of your personal info.
Then give them the phone loaded with porn with the password to unlock it.
