I've always felt that it was a cheap shot and a dangerous example to set. My brother was at a house party in college when a fight broke out and the kid who got his arse whipped decided to try that. The brick-thrower ended up splitting some kid's wig pretty good and being charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The average brick hurled a high velocity will do one hell of a lot more than break someone's nose. Don't know how it all shook out.
