Ummm, my 401K, IRA and portfolio are at all time highs right now.

Please tell me people on this board were smart enough to rake in the $$ with this stock market over the passed 3 months.

Walmart on Tuesday said it planned to keep all its stores closed on Thanksgiving Day.

The closures, affecting both Walmart and Sam's Club stores, mark a huge departure from Walmart's tradition of kicking off Black Friday in-store doorbuster sales on the Thanksgiving holiday, which falls on November 26 this year.

walmart looking for a way to get out of this gracefully; this is nothing but a disaster for them every year w/ the stampedes and violence.

covid gives them cover to discontinue this practice without someone screaming RACISTS!

They don't give a shite about that. Stampedes mean they made more money.

Nobody will need anything on Black Friday because of the $600 unemployment bonus checks. Everyone got what they needed

Yes. Because he tanked the economy. Purposefully.
With Chinese flu. And with governors and mayors that are woefully incompetent, probably voted into office by people with intelligence similar to yours.
You nailed it.

This is good news. Maybe it will help keep two-parent families together.

Another family tradition ends. We'd start lining up outside as soon as our post-feast nap. My cousin Beaux asked his girlfriend K'arolynn to marry him in the line one year.

Black Friday they will still be open, just not on Turkey Thursday. And it will be packed and still only 4 of the 25 lanes open.
