It used to be the only shopping I could handle. Today I went to Trader Joes for the first time and realized that I never have to step foot in a Wal Mart again for groceries.

I like them. If people don't like them because there's wal mart in the title then.. there's no hope for them.

If only a grocery store wouldn't accept food stamps.

Imagine how short the lines would be.

I went to the one in BR when it first opened for all my grocery shopping and I really liked it. I am sure its a piece of shite now like every other fricking Wal Mart.

It's like a Wal-Mart but a lot more convenient. Same crappy produce/meat selection.

nothing like Whole Foods at all. As others have said, they carry less variety than a Super Walmart. They still seem to hire some of the same crappy, grumpy, not happy to have a job employees though, which is nice

Kind of like a Whole Foods

Um, no.

No fresh seafood
Very limited fresh produce
Very limited fresh cuts of beef, pork, and chicken.

I don't blame them. People who shop at Walmart don't tend to eat a lot of fresh food. Walmart simply stocks based on its demand.

There's one right down the street from me. It's convenient for some things but the selection isn't good enough for most of my shopping trips.

It's nothing like whole foods - its just a grocery store, and you won't catch the ghey in it.

I alternate between the one on highland and the Winn Dixie on Burbank. They have some different stuff.

Why does Trader Joes suck? I've never been but there's a new one coming near my house and it sounds fine.
