I used to see this some back when I lived in Baton Rouge. I used to jog back then around and around neighborhood not wanting to get to far away if I wanted to quit, so I saw a lot of the people living nearby and could tell when kids were not from neighborhood.

Some of the visiting black trick or treaters from outside of neighborhood were great and so appreciative, and usually had some very friendly parents or other adults with them. The kind of trick or treaters where not even knowing who is there you first go crap another doorbell but then are happy afterwards that you got up to answer. Maybe more so than with neighborhood kids. Then you would have the ones where you are just wtf just happened afterwards with so much disrespect from kids and from adults if there and way way out of the norm from kids in neighborhood or kids or even people in general. Most likely to also be trying to grab a lot of extra from my bowl while I was busy handing out to others including being seen by adults if with them with no words stopping the kids.

With My norm more likely not wanting to answer door regardless of who was outside It was like more visiting black trick or treaters than neighbors made me glad i answered door & wanting to answer door again after having a great experience, but also more visiting black trick or treaters than neighborhood kids made me want to answer door even less and just turn off lights. Neighborhood kids were always neutral or good regardless of race.
