And here is Gravy...an unemployed man who lives with his step mother and a man who refuses to work for a salary or at a job. Here is is demanding another man be terminated over a heated (dumb) comment about Halloween Candy...

Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar should revoke the franchise license for Brandon Hargrave.

Brandon owns the Covington Walk On’s and posted a video of black children taking more than one piece of candy on Halloween and posted a video with the caption below.

He’s a bigot, and clearly believes that a black child taking extra candy on Halloween means he or she will die or go to jail?

Have no little white children in America taken candy? Have white children done worse and still been functioning members of society?

Walk On’s needs to revoke his franchise license because someone with this mentality can’t apologize their bigotry away. This man clearly has bias and that will translate to hiring practices and customer treatment.

Walk On’s should remove him from their brand. He may have paid for the license but if you allow racist to represent your brand, what does that say about you as a organization?

Somebody needs to keep track of these kids and let us know if they end up in jail in 10 years. This guy may be proven right and he can sue Walkons for millions.

Except that it wasn’t racist. He was talking about a culture, not a race.

UPDATE: Walk-On's has terminated its franchise relationship with Lafayette businessman Brandon Hargrave after he made a racially offensive Facebook post about children who were trick-or-treating.

"We have built our company’s foundation on core values of inclusion and equality, and we find any actions or statements to the contrary unacceptable," Scott Taylor, president and COO of Walk-On's said in an emailed statement Monday afternoon. "As result of recent events surrounding an offensive social media post by Walk-On’s franchisee Brandon Hargrave, Walk-On’s Enterprises is terminating its franchise relationship with Mr. Hargrave, effective immediately."

Contract language accounts for circumstances such as Hargrave shooting out rascist posts on Facebook or other public internet sites.

It was his personal Facebook account

Does that mean he has to sign away his 1st Amendment rights?

What part was racist?

I’ve always heard this forum is a safe harbor for racists. Looking at the percentage of people here who are defending this guy and saying he is not racist, I guess it’s true.

Go back 2 pages and take a look at arse's post about the FB post being edited 30 times and one edit version saying

quote:

"Turn the volume up," Hargrave wrote on Facebook in one version of the post. "You can even hear these little hoodf***** reading the sign that says 'please take one so everyone gets one' aloud while picking their heads up like thieves on the lookout and taking it all.
