No seriously, I am just stating facts. With how our society and how the bureaucrats operate, you know how that's going to play out.

Doesn't bother me at all. Just further evidence of what you are.

An example was made out of him. He lost his job, and at his age, it could endanger his career. Yeah the guy went all righteous and he overreacted. According to everything I read, it doesn't go beyond one incident. It's isolated. The guy was a candidate for Principal of the Year. Again, why pile on? It's all resolved.

Pulling a 17 year old girl into your office and reading scriptures to her for an hour while she cried then providing her with written copies of said scripture, removing her from student council and revoking your recommendation for her scholarship is epically bad judgement. The school board cannot afford to have someone whose judgement can’t be trusted in a high school.

IF the school administration is responsible for sending in scholarships, transcripts, recommendations, etc for scholarships and did not do so over the principal’s hissy fit, that DOES permanently affect her.

I have friends in HS whose scholarships didn’t get put through because the counselor, who was in charge of it, was a lazy sack of shite who focused on the top 10 of the class to the exclusion of everyone else. That was a massive financial loss for them. Their family having money doesn’t change that they lost what they should have had through actions or inactions of others.

I do not agree with going back and taking his pension though. He’ll be told to resign or he will be terminated. That and not hiring him again should be enough. As long as the student is made whole.

frick that. If he doesn’t pay personally then the taxpayers will. Clean him out

Now, exactly how many of them became global news stories because of a hissy fit or being a lazy sack of shite?

They weren’t in a public school getting lectured on it happening over religion.

They didn’t even know it wasn’t submitted until it was too late to do it. But the counselor in question was not retained.

My guess is some connection to Walker HS or LP school system.

Because very few people are supporting them in this and attacking the victim while simultaneously saying “Oh, she’ll be fine!”

so you admit there is nothing in common between the two situations. Thanks for clearing that up.

Shame the LP community couldn't rally like this around ousting Sheriff Ard. He has caused more harm than St Pierre if we are honest.

Is there anything in common between your relatives bullying students and this situation?

See your own post about relevance.

It doesn't affect me one way or the other if it goes away or continues in perpetuity.

Wrong LP, but if you meant Lafayette Parish, then you are correct.

I don't support the principal or the school district. I simply don't think they guys career should be ended over it nor do I think his pension should be taken. It takes I think 25-30yrs for someone to get full retirement from the state. That's a lot. And I don't think something like this event, is worthy or stripping someone's life earnings over. If it's something far more sinister, like some people have suggested. Like the principal working to get someone else's daughter in that spot, then that is different.

I am not attacking the victim. But she will most certainly be just fine.

Your criteria on how things should be handled is “oh, they’ll be fine so we can drop the matter”?

Things only matter when someone irreparably gets harmed, as opposed to smacking down an idiot before they do that?

Just like this story, if it had gone national with Ard specifically, the outcome would be a bit different. The attention instead was all on the Perkins couple and their atrocities.
