50 choices and "1" is worth a damn. There might be a problem.

Probably went to the Walk-On's in Towne Center in BR and was embarrassed at how awful it has become.

Made the mistake of wandering in there one night assuming that proximity to a nice area would be a good experience. I will never go back.

The food is mediocre. Their atmosphere is awesome and what drives their sales. We don’t have to pretend like it’s a 5* dining experience.

There must have been a cursed Indian burial mound there at some point because quite a few restaurants have started out great there, then degraded significantly over the next few years.

I remember when they first opened by campus. They fricked up cheese fries 3 times on a row on my first visit. Never thought that place would make it. Bravo to them. I tend to think the locations of their restaurants and their ambiance is bigger than the quality of the food

When Brandon and jack were single the talent was ridiculous. Went to the campus one before the Arkansas basketball game and there wasn’t a single girl behind the bar that would have even been hired as a hostess back in the day.

I think that's the issue. People are comparing them (and Canes) to what they were they when they started regarding food quality and value

favorite menu item from back in the "day"

bacon-wrapped, fried oyster-stuffed, jumbo shrimp

It's great for a first date. Not too expensive, great atmosphere, and food you know people won't necessarily be picky over.

...and if she's boring as hell there are plenty of TVs to watch till it's time to pay the check and get the hell out of there. It's a win-win.

You mother frickers want Ruth’s Chris quality meals for McDonald’s pricing. Their food is fine. The burgers are still really good and reasonably priced. Have you been to five guys? It’s a fricking sports bar not a three star Michelin Restaurant. They have good bar food.
