And it should not be that way.

If they don't do it, there must be a reason, but I would think Uber drivers would jump in on this. If they drop someone off, they can look to see if there is any orders that need to be delivered, that is on their way to wherever they are going next. And pick up a few extra dollars.

But how does it work. You make an order, go to Waitr and put in your pickup order information and then someone goes pick it up and drops it off? (in other words, restaurants are not involved at all right?). I can't imagine it cost the consumer all that much for the service... I am just guessing, but I would think $6-$7). If they give the driver 20% that's $1.40, so they really make it on tips. I am trying to think this out really, but yeah..when you think about a driver having to go all around to different restaurants (opposed to a pizza place, where they leave pizza place, drop off pizza, go back to pizza place).. It really doesn't sound all that appealing.

I love Waitr. Use it all the time.

Uber Eats on the other hand, they can go suck a heaping pile of dicks.

I never got my food. After over an hour of waiting I called their 1-800 number. Turns out the idiot driver was making multiple deliveries and gave my food to someone else. Had to argue with them over the phone just to get a refund.

Deleted the app and never used them again.

How do you know they don't snack a bit on your food while they bring it to you? How do you know they don't put their dick in the food? No one else is around.

Could be said for anywhere you order food, from a street cart to a high end restaurant. You just have to accept it could happen.

At restaurants there are people working around you. You're not alone with the food.

I mean you could say the same thing about restaurants. There’s always an element of trust with food service. You just have to decide where that line of trust is.

Not always the case and depends on the restaurant. If there’s some psycho that just gets off on putting his dick in the food there is plenty of prep work that is done in secluded areas in many of these restaurants and markets.

Waitr went DOWN hill pretty quickly. I stopped Waitr after having too many mess ups by the DELIVERY driver. If I do order I make sure to write in the notes section-
“Please double check my order and tip is based on correct items” etc. I used to tip very well when checking out but it’s just worth the money if the driver sucks. Waitr makes it too complicated to call and complain and I’ve noticed that the drivers # to contact them isn’t always available. It’s just a really big pain in the arse.

The driver gets here on time...but looks and acts like Drexyl from the movie TRUE ROMANCE. He has his music blaring...has the dreds...and headphones on his stupid ears when he comes to my door.

So the only issue here is you don't approve of the way someone choose to appear?

Did you even read the OP?

You're a bigger dumbfrick than the guy who thought it was okay to only deliver half of the order.

Why is it the second page and no one has told the OP to get off his fat lazy arse and pick up his own damned food next time?

God damn, the OT has gone down hill.

I've used them in Livingston Parish many times. Drivers usually call/text to let me know they have everything and are on their way. Only have had 2 issues with missing food, but both times were the restaurants fault.

I talked to a young gal(thinking it would be a great part time job for my oldest son). She said she makes 3-500 3-4 hours a night.
