Sunday I talked with the cop that was chasing dude after he stole the vehicle from the BMW dealership. Said he wished he'd known not to call off the chase, but they were following policy and had to back off. Told him it wouldn't have mattered. Dude wasn't going to jail for long for that and he would have done something like this sooner or later.
