OK, what Waffle House did you eat at? We can prove or disprove it in a couple of minutes.

Bacon by itself at Waffle House $3.95

Therefore you are saying 2 eggs were an additional $9.00 or $4.50 each.

Come on man.

Should read “the Waffle House 2 eggs and bacon meal I added three things to is $13.00.

The toast and hash browns were probably $2 per side, plus your $3 glass of milk..you doubled the cost of the meal.

I think he ordered the 2 Egg Breakfast with Side Meat, which is $10 on the menu.

But he also ordered a glass of milk, which added $2.65.

Someone needs to start a thread about the highway robbery that is what restaurants charge for drinks. $2.65 for 16 ounces of milk is wild.

Nice try. The last thing I need is an online stalker.

But here is a link for you.
Waffle House

Now add a drink to that. $13.00

The drink was over a quarter of the cost of your whole meal.

If you had included that in your OP & title, I don’t think you’d be catching any flack.

Wrong.

The title specifically said the “2 eggs and bacon MEAL”. Anyone who’s ever eaten at Waffle House would know their breakfast plates like that come with toast and hash browns(or grits).

This thread most certainly did not deserve an anchor. And it’s weird anyone thought it did

So you are admitting your post was disingenuous. The things you didn't mention ordering in that OP were 42% of your bill without the tip.

Like I said people almost always leave out the facts when they complain about over the top restaurant prices.

Yea who would have ever thought I would have gotten a drink with my meal at a restaurant? I mean who does something like that?

Most prices will never come down, however some commodities may a little. But overall, nothing is getting cheaper.

Waffle House 2 eggs and bacon meal

I recently went to WH and ordered 2 eggs, bacon, with hashbrowns chunked -- and toast came with it, and a glass of water.

With tip, it came out to $12.00.

A while back, I could also get a waffle included for this price. But not today.

I just think the wording of your OP was poor.

People that don’t frequent Waffle House don’t know that a “2 eggs and bacon meal” also comes with hashbrowns and toast. And you failed to include you purchased a glass of Milk as a part of that cost. Water is free.

So, in reality you got:

2 eggs
3 pieces of bacon
2 pieces of toast
Hashbrowns
Milk

For $13 tax included.

That doesn’t sound so egregious. Certainly worse than it was a few years ago, though.

This is always my go-to and I never pay that much.

Are you getting a side of grits or hash browns and a drink w/it?

Usually order 2 waffles(one for me, one for wife, sorry no pics) side of bacon, I get cup of coffee, she gets cup of hot chocolate & coke. Bill is usually less than $17 w/tax…

You obviously don’t live in Louisiana.
