Bingo

Progs are trying to flip society. Their method is to stop arresting minorities unless homicide or aggravated assault.

Being short officers doesn’t mean they have been defunded. Just that they lack officers. Fast food places also are lacking workers right now.. does that mean they have been defunded?

I listed a bunch of cities that have been defunded.

Stout posted a link with 20 major cities that have been defunded.

In the case of Memphis they are 500 officers down because of budgetary cuts.

I can’t speak for why NOLA is down so many. But I suspect it’s for similar reasons.

You asked a pretty stupid question.

You were provided with a long list of answers.

Don’t double down on being stupid.

Ask progressives.

They're the ones claiming it's defunding.

I love it, can't wait to see people flee.

Can we just form a penal colony - say Puerto Rico - and send all these fricks there for life so the rest of us can move on with doing productive things?

Notice that the initial spike in the murder rate coincided with the social progressive movements of the late 60’s and early 70’s (Civil Rights and Vietnam era). Any similarity to what’s going on now?

I mean it's a pretty liberal County so it's not a stretch to think this wasn't just a simple budget cut but rather grandstanding by local reps

quote:

Routt County, CO is Strongly liberal. In Routt County, CO 62.7% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 35.1% voted for the Republican Party, and the remaining 2.2% voted Independent.

Where have the police actually been defunded? No way it has more to do with increased poverty due to Covid/reaction to Covid. Also who in the vaunted presidential admin is going to favor defunding the police? Biden? Who basically wrote the crime bill in the 90s or prosecutor Harris that locked tons of people up for marijuana possession?

As long as you believe definitions are “malleable”, defunding can mean anything you want it to mean.

Absolutely.

My city is at least that that skewed Dem (68% Biden) but we don't have that foolishness. In fact, most Dems here would vote to increase the force.

The difference between liberals and progressives.

I mean Candidate Harris is on video saying police need to be “re-imagined”

“Abolish ICE” is defunding the police.
