Just like leftists magically ignore the demographic that conducts the overwhelming number of gun crimes here in the US.

If we were lacking this demographic like Switzerland does, we'd probably have similar statistics

The training seems like a decent idea. A lot of accidents happen bc of idiots who don't know how to properly and safely handle their guns

IDK, man, according to your typical AR neckbeard, those little bullets bounce around your target's entire body on a tactical journey of destruction. Someone hit by an AR round is basically just an epidermis surrounding a wound cavity after the bullet's done its work.

That's actually your typical progressive that says stupid shite like that. Like when Bill Mahr says you can't use an AR for hunting because it will blow up a deer. Get your shite straight, retard.

If the voters approved it, then I have no problem with it. I think it is crazy, but it is their decision.

Pay attention to this folks. Switzerland has the world’s oldest operating constitution next to ours.

Real shame. They’ve gone from a country that fiercely fought to defend their neutrality during WW2 to now this...

He's 50% right (you can't hunt deer with an AR) but 100% wrong about why.

Or this guy: LINK /

"DiMaio explains that when a full metal jacketed 5.56/.223 round contacts human tissue it will travel along a circular path while beginning to yaw or turn sideways. This turning effect will become significant at 12 cm (approximately 4.7 inches)."

"At the point of maximum yaw, the bullet will be turned at a 90-degree angle as it moves forward in the body. If the bullet remains intact, it will yaw to 180 degrees and continue to travel base first until it comes to rest."

That is one magic bullet. Maybe my BS meter is broken, but it's pegged right now.

And you just know tactical gentlesirs read shite like that and get tiny little hard-ons. Never wanted to be in that number myself.

People hunt with ARs all the time so you're wrong yet again

It becomes unstable after about 400m and tumbles when it hits tissue. Like the saying goes - better to stay quiet and let people think you're dumb rather than open your mouth and confirm it.

Me and the FIL go kill pigs with them a few times per year. AR is definitely my preferred platform for this

You AR weenies have a way of coming out of the woodwork at the slightest provocation.

You want to hunt deer with .223? Whatever, man. It's legal in some states, but if I see some guy in the woods with an AR-15 when a cheap old .30-06 will do a much better job, that just screams "tactical AR weenie" to me.

You think you can predict which direction a bullet will be facing at various precise points in its travel, and after impact? I put that kind of claim in the same category as "katana steel is folded 100 times and can penetrate tank armor."

Keep in mind that there are hundreds if not thousands of different varieties of AR cartridge, and similar combinations of barrel, gas system, etc. And yet we get these implausible statements about yaw, cavitation, and the like.

I am not a gun control advocate. I think you should have whatever gun you want, and it's obvious to me why someone would want a 30-shot semi-auto for practical reasons.

I have just never wanted an AR, and when I communicate with people who do have them it only reinforces that.

Yeah, this is usually the response when you losers get proven wrong with the truth.

OK. I don't deer hunt with an AR either.

No one has made that claim except you

The hunting argument is something I avoid. The 2nd Amendment doesn't exist to preserve our right to hunt. The left may be uncomfortable with this, but it's a check on the power of the government.

That's why we have it.

It's designed to put "weapons of war" into the hands of the citizens.
