Early 2000s phones still had email correct? So I think most people could get away with it even for work purposes. Hell, i am a millennial and didnt get a smartphone until 2011/2012. People use to look at me like I had 4 eyes when I first started work and pulled out that sweet arse razor phone

Vitaminwater

Heh, some cell phone company needs to do a tap water challenge. $100,000 if you don't drink bottled water for a year.

Either challenge would be pretty easy.

I’m sure the people insuring this contest never thought of that.

How are they going to police any of this? If they gave me a flip phone and I got a side phone and didn't use any of my normal accounts or at least the ones that would ID me, how would they know whether I used it or not?

I would but I don't have Instagram or Twitter. I should win $100K just for that.

I still have a flip phone. Don't have a facebook, twitter, Instagram or any other social media account other than the few websites I visit daily.

For $100K, I could easily give up the desktop, laptop and cellphone for a year.

He or she will need to agree to the rules and not use (or touch) a smartphone for 365 consecutive days, subject to verification by Sponsor, as well as a lie-detector test at the end of the contract period.

Welp, not sure it's so easy now. I mean my family is constantly asking them to help find their phone. Not sure I could go a full year and not even touch one..

At least laptop use is okay.

I could do it, but my work wouldn’t let me. Their iPhone 7 isn’t optional.

It’s called deploying to a combat zone. It’s not hard.
