Got a couple of Europeans coming to New Orleans and they’re staying near the quarter. If they only have one evening to spend there on a Wednesday night, what would you have them do? They’re pretty cultured guys that probably just don’t want to grab a Huge arse Beer and walk bourbon the whole night. What do you suggest that I can suggest and take credit for and come out looking like a hero?

ETA: shite please move to the OT. Requested admin.

Preservation hall? I haven’t been in years but that’s the first place I thought of.

I’ll speak for the OT on this matter. We recommend hookers and blow. And of course, PIIHB.

Have them go to Frenchman St and check out the music clubs. Can also hit up Bacchanal for some good food and more live music.

Totally agree with ^ for nightime.
WW11 museum daytime.
Cafe Beignet (in the little Music Legends Park courtyard) on Bourbon, for breakfast beignets and espresso. Usually have musical performers. Better than Cafe Du Monde IMO.

I have relatives in the UK, Belgium, Canada and Japan, aged early 20’s - 50’s, who have visited me, and I give my recommendations with confidence. Have fun!

If they are frenchies, take them to the WW2 museum and tell them “you’re welcome”.
