Anyone had or hearing of a virus going around with these symptoms? My brother has been down with it for over a week. Was in the hospital for a day and half getting test run and fluids. Nothing is really giving any relief.
They said everything came back negative and sent him home. Said it was a virus that is going around and has to run its course.
He said it is the worst thing he has ever experienced, particularly the nonstop migraines and not being able to sleep.

Probably an enterovirus. Bad headache, fever, you feel like shite. It usually lasts about a week.
Just supportive care. Let it runs its course. Stay hydrated.

All test/blood work came back negative on everything. They originally thought he had spinal meningitis but negative on that.

I'd recommend an IV with vitamin C and zinc.

LOCK IT DOWN
It will just take a couple weeks.

People overuse the word "migraine".

Same here , 1 week in, ponied up 23.00 for a damn Covid test kit. Negative. Lost my sense of taste. Good thing is clients are keeping conversations short, pick up check and go!

For his headaches, get some PEPPERMINT oil. It works. It's called
Peppermint Essential Oils. Rub two drops on your hands and breath in about 5 or 6 whiffs. It works for me and the wife.

I am not a doctor. I would recommend vitamin C and B12. Stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. Take acetaminophen every 6 hours. Eat chicken noodle soup with smaller meals.
