oh hell no you're wrong. at least in my experience the old school hot wheel track from the 1970s will leave a damn mark. that shite stings.

no wait..here's the REAL WTF moment from this. THey're on the SAME MOLD.
see below; those 'exacto knife' looking engines in the middle of the mold. one set had jets w/ different angles; the other had jets ALL THE SAME.
damn, might have been a collectable; maybe only a few were made w/ the wrong mold.
