It's debatable if insurance should cover that. They will definitely be dropped once this settles. This person should have their license pulled permanently. Sadly, most Louisiana drivers are even dumber than this lady. Can't even make a short drive anymore without witnessing at least one dumbass.

Modern vehicles should have a disable function that requires the driver to pass a cognitive ability test before it can be driven.

I try to extend grace to people in stressful situations
But what on earth. I assume everyone's first instinct would be to plow forward especially with absolutely nothing in your way.
I'm sure the person who bumped the car was absolutely terrified thinking they'd made the mistake of killing the dumbest driver on earth

Guys as we know from the Daryl Brooks case, SUVs drive themselves. Driver had no choice but to bail.

Rather than clear the tracks and proceed forward (a safe location to resolve an understandable and predictable accident, Mr retarded SUV driver stupidly decided to back up INTO the path of an oncoming train.
The SUV driver just does not have a survival instinct. He’s not good breeding material and should be neutered. We don’t need that shite in our gene pool.

People lose their minds during accidents. Dude could have either backed all the way off the tracks or driven forward.
