Just saw the video, this is bad, very bad. Not sure if he is gonna resign, but this could end chance of running for office again.

Odds that we get a statement or public apology from his camp today?
Or is legal team looking for loophole to get the charges dropped and he doesn’t want to admit guilt?
Someone also needs to update his Wikipedia Page.
He is guy that has never had to work a real job in the private sector. Connected family that has always had some type of civic job for him - he doesn’t earn that right any more after what he did to public property (SUV).

Doesn't sound like he ever earned that right to begin with. Generally when people damage publicly owned property there is some type of restitution enforced. He won't be held accountable just like elected officials are not forced to make payment on outstanding taxes owed.

Going to be hard to argue when the accident occured in the wee hours of the morning. No one would believe he was suffering from medical episode by the way he was speaking.

My mother has the diabeetus and I've been around her when her blood sugar gets low and she can't easily communicate or function. I've also seen a low blood sugar episode with a friend of mine.
That's not what happens when you have low blood sugar. Yes, there can be some slurring of words / delayed speech when you have low blood sugar, but you don't tell people "we handling it man" and "I love you" when this happens.
He was classic drunk. If there is a medical issue involved, it may be that the alcohol got to him quicker than normal, (due to medicine or whatever) but he was drunk.

Drunk, and maybe loaded too. Will be interesting to see the toxicology results.
I rarely go hard these days, but I'm still amazed by friends/acquaintances who I see out driving after 3 or more drinks. I'm talking about people with legit careers and many elected and appointed public officials. In addition to hurting someone else, the personal cost are so much higher than in my younger days.
In New Orleans, if I can't swing $20-$30 extra dollars each time I go out for a uber/lyft/taxi at my age, I should just stay home. Or just walk home from spots near the house.

Who did he call? They should get access to his cell phone to find out who he called first and what did he say. He obviously looked drunk. Why no field sobriety test? There is way to much to this story than to just let it be swept under the rug. He should be treated the same as any other citizen. They need to look at their public vehicle policy. How many other DUI's did he have that never were reported.
