A crane carrying an Air India Airbus A320 snapped early Sunday morning, dropping the plane from about 60 feet in the air.

Airport staff were transporting the aircraft from Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, India, to a nearby training academy when the cables supporting the 77-ton plane collapsed.

No injuries were reported.

The aircraft had to be held up at 60 feet during the two-mile trek from airport hangar to academy to "avoid trees and electric poles on the road," police spokesperson Prakash Reddy told Times of India.

your video link sucks. you couldn't be bothered to spend another 10 seconds finding one that actually recorded it being dropped?

That seems like a really dumb way to move an airplane, but airplane moving isn't my specialty.

That sites annoying. Other videos on that site started auto-playing. Annoying.

Looks like they avoided the power poles.

They should've just flown the plane over the power lines

Wait, so they held the load expecting to crawl with it for 2 fricking miles!? Coming from a guy in heavy crane business, that's pretty dumb.
