Of all the shite in this thread..... when did HC get known as a “thug” school??

I think the better question would be at what point did you think it wasn't a thug school? The taper fade was invented there.

BTW, HC only won that game because they were gifted a touch down when it was actually a Rummel interception... 2 refs called it an int, one calls it a TD as a simultaneous catch...

I agree, race doesn't matter when telling this story.

Although I can't help but note that had it been two black men, and the race wasn't noted, many on this site would make comments about how either it was noticeably left out or didn't need to be stated because the race was obvious.

If it had been 2 black men in this situation it would have been on World Star and not the Advocate

Not incorrect in that, but it doesn't make my point less valid when it comes to the OT

My brother goes to HC. This kid would bully a kid with Asperger's syndrome last year. He and his buddies started a rumor that the kid was going to shoot up the school. He's a POS. HC did nothing about it because his parents donate a lot to the school. I love catholic school. It's all about morals until one of the rich kids gets in trouble then it's no big deal.

There is no reason to go to the French Quarter. Ever. It is a toilet of humanity and the biggest tourist-trap in the US. This video is typical of just about every night in that cesspool.

He will be very lucky if he didn't do permanent damage to the other guy. I would expect Holy Cross to expel him, being his second arrest in 6 months.

Rhett Weidenbacher needs to beat Ramon Antonio Vargas' arse for being such a shitty writer. Journalism majors are such jokes these days. Proper writing style isn't taught anymore. Now it's write like you're posting on facebook.

Why are you categorizing everyone based on what one or two people said? Sounds like some kinda -ist, -ism or other social faux paus.

Considering only one person did what you're describing, your point is kind of invalid Given how poorly written the article was, I'm fairly surprised by the early responses.

Amos Morale III Twitter video of the play

which one of the 3 called it simultaneous. because same rule applied to LSU.. it's not who has better possession or who walks away with it....

The receiver and defender both go airborne and simultaneously gain possession of a legal forward pass near the goal line and return to the ground where:

Situation 1: they alight in the field of play inbounds;

Situation 2: they alight in the end zone with the ball;

Situation 3: the receiver lands in the end zone and the defender in the field of play inbounds;

Situation 4: the defender comes down in the end zone and the receiver lands in the field of play;

Situation 5: the receiver lands in the end zone and the defender lands out of bounds.

RULINGS

Situation 1: The ball is dead and belongs to the offense at the yard line through the foremost point of the ball when receiver and defender contacted the ground inbounds.

Situation 2: It is a touchdown.

Situations 3 and 4: The ball becomes dead and the pass is complete at the yard line through the foremost point of the ball when the players contacted the ground inbounds. If the ball has penetrated the plane of the goal line in either situation, it is a touchdown.

Situation 5: Incomplete pass.
