Do south LA people drink liquid crab boil like Asian people eat wasabi? That's a bad scenario.

Probably. It's not like Asian people are just gobbling up wasabi. Maybe Tabasco would make you feel better about the comparison?

My point was no one eats these by themselves unless they're weird.

Oh yes I feel much better about the comparison. And yes I do think it would be messed up, I was just throwing the question out there.

We gave our kids hot sauce, Sriracha, etc. They didn't break. Only difference is I didn't have my camera phone recording.

Parents in Latin America give their kids chilis, what's the difference?

Not a parent so I can’t say anything about giving kids ‘hot’ things to try, but it seriously grosses me out to see that little girl covered in food

I personally wouldn’t give my kid wasabi... but come on. She gave her the tiniest bit. It’s a spicy food... she wasn’t harmed.

I’ve given my kid a lemon before just to see him react to something bitter, and I’m sure most parents have done the same.

It's not like giving them acid. It's no big deal.

It's unnecessary. No upside.

It never even occurred to me to do something like that when our child was young.

I used to ask my kids if they wanted pickles while opening up a jar of jalapenos.

Sorry, this was a choice and we would not have made it.

Everyone does do dumbass shite though. Hopefully it's not recorded to bite you in the arse later.

Pickled jalapenos aren't even spicy. Give them the real deal fresh jalapenos

Do you think in 20 years this kid is going to be upset with her parents for giving her that taste of wasabi or do you think they’ll look back at it as a funny family moment?

If you’ve ever had wasabi, you know that is plenty enough.

What if the kid took the wasabi off his tongue and rubbed it in his eyes and created a bigger issue?

And I meant in general with video doing dumbass shite.
