That video is wrong about the gang in Plaquemine. Living in Plaquemine I mentioned something about the gangs and Jones told me there was no gangs here and since he knows everything I and this video is wrong.
But the gangs actually break down more in Plaquemine. Like BR in which they all know each other and even grew up with each other, there are actually four different gangs. Being a small town, they are not really all that far from each other, but the divide pretty much happened because of drug selling.
There is one area in which the split is across the street. Those two areas have more trouble with "territory" because its not hard for someone from one side to sell to someone looking on the other side.
If there is a plus side to it, they are usually more likely to fight, but every once in awhile they will have a shootout.
Years ago (early 2000s), the person who supplied all of the smaller gangs was arrested and sent to prison because. Well.. You can't not have a legit job and buy a new house while driving a new benz, etc and that kind of changed things. But all these rap gangs and shite, that changed the game.
I don't know if they use it as a business that drug money is put into to be made legit or how all of that shite got started. People used to rap to make money to get away from all the shite they rapped about, but its like they are all centered around the rapper of their set.
Assuming the police know who the leaders of these gangs are, it seems like they would try to get them together and at least try to negotiate something. Convince them that they could all eat if they unify and stop killing each other.
If the Crips and Bloods in SC LA were able to come together, there is away to get these gangs to come together.

i'm not watching that.
What are they choosing sides over again? somebody stepped on someones air force ones?
There seems to be some inaccuracy in the video. He includes a convent and Plaquemine gang in with the BR gangs, but both areas are not close enough to have beef with BR gangs on a daily basis or anything and just far enough from each other where they are not any type of territory wars. If he included those two, he should have gone to all the other parishes included in "the baton rouge area". Pointe Coupee for example. Im sure there are some in Livingston Parish.

I'm headed to BTR this weekend for the game. Flying into Nola.
Should I wear my purple or gold bulletproof vest?

I think the Convent and Plaquemine connection is base solely on the fact that both towns have a rapper that each side are friends with and rapped together. Bleedas are friends with the rapper from Convent and Vultures are friends with the rapper from Plaquemine.
