CHICAGO (WLS) -- A plane slid off a runway as it was landing at O'Hare Airport as snow fell on the Chicago area Monday morning.

A Chicago Aviation spokesperson said the incident occurred at about 7:45 a.m. as American Eagle flight 4125 from Greensboro, North Carolina was landing at O'Hare.

According to an American Airlines spokesperson, "After landing, American Eagle flight 4125, operated by Envoy Air, slid off the runway due to icy conditions at Chicago O'Hare. No injuries were reported. All 38 passengers and three crew members were removed from the aircraft and are now safely back in the terminal."

I’m in the Nashville airport eating for my flight. Glad there was no crash.

Do we count a wing jammed into the ground as a crash?

Either way, looks like no serious injuries. Could have been much worse.

Well this is what I needed to see. I'm due to land in Columbus, OH @ 8pm tonight. The snow should be there by then.

The article has twitter video from a passenger. Looks like the plane hit black ice on landing causing it to yaw and slide.

I bet there were some tighter than normal buttholes when that plane started to turn sideways.

Comments below video says takeoff, which would make sense as you are right no air brakes in the video hahaha

Maybe 777 would know why that’s the case

Not surprising. Brazilian planes aren't used to the snow.
