Correct. There was a round stand alone building in front of Leonard Krower

I was thinking Radio Shack, but you are correct. It was Radio Center!

3908 Veterans (like in the catalogue below) is on the South side of Veterans at the corner of Cleary…
We on the same page now.
BTW y'all should pay attention to what I mentioned about being able to search news papers through your local library website(links to a service called NewsBank.com). It's incredibly handy for a few things in particular, besides finding all your little league write-ups from 1981.
Another neat thing about it is exactly what this thread is about. You just punch in an address and search oldest to newest and you'll find the first time that address was mentioned in the Picayune. Then it's simple as scrolling through the pages to find when the name changes over time.
It's pretty cool. And free with a Library card number.

That’s really cool.
Speaking of searching old things. Do you know where I could find old mugshots from OPP? Late 90s-ish

That I do not. I know there are pay services for that kinda stuff that lawyers and PIs use like Lexis Nexis.
But they all cost a pretty penny

I worked at Leonard Krower in the late 70’s. The round building was not Leonard Krower.
Not the round building that is a fed ex service center... On the other side of vets and cleary.. The corner of the building has a rounded front..

Round buildings were almost always originally built as banks.

Wasn't it ZM video before blockbuster?
Thinking of the other blockbuster further down.

You're going way back there. I don't think those survived into the 1990s. They were damned good, though. I still remember exactly what they tasted like.

I think the one I worked at, Clearview and W. Esplanade, used to be a ZM Video. We still had tapes that had ZM decals on them.
