As the message says. I'm not going into any detail. I figured the wise O.T. might be able to help me out. Thanks! Oh this is in louisiana trying to find someone south of Alexandria and north of Houma, all the way to Red StiCK

EDIT: my Dr told me to find a lawyer after my appointmentthis morning, Also HR personal I know (that knows all of the details, over 2 years) that works for a billion dollar corporation out of texas.. told me to immediately find a lawyer. Also I have a background in police work involved in this is sexaul harassment. I have kept notes and records for 2 years. I started a grievance last year and just found out my supervisor never submitted nothing. Now I'm about to loose my job.
I told HR MY MEDICAL information ( i have PTSD looking for my HR Help) Than she spread my medical information throughout my workplace

If you aren't going to give any details then you should've just used google.

Most people completely misunderstand what HIPAA covers.

HIPAA doesn't create a private right of action. Maybe we need more information?

Are you sure it's even a violation?

Unless you were for a medical provider, you don't have a HIPPA violation in the workplace.

IS the supposed HIPAA a medical provider or his workplace? If it is his workplace it is likely not covered under HIPAA rules, though HIPAA gives no private cause of action anyway.

There may certainly be a COA but more likely a tort or contract action.

This is almost certainly not a HIPAA issue. You need to consult an employment lawyer.

You do not need a HIPAA attorney.

After reading this, I have some assumptions:

1) You are a pain in the arse to deal with at work
2) You are probably losing your job for cause
3) You will probably lose your legal crusade

Sincerely, PTSD diagnosed veteran.

Some words of advice if/when you sit done with an attorney just give him or her the straight facts in chronological order. One of the quickest ways for a prospective client to get me to show them the door is being hyperbolic and giving me the indication they have unreasonable expectations in the situation.

Thank you for this, but 100% got my ducks in a row. I figured out 2 years ago what was happening and started documentation on everything

Call Paul Bell in Baton Rouge or Kevin Vogelantz in the New Orleans area.
