I’ve smoked a lot of weed in my day and I never want to eat a brownie again. Took too long for it to kick in and when it did kick in my arse thought I was going to die. I have never been so paranoid in my life. I don’t understand the fascination with edibles.

Start at 10 mgs and work your way up (not at the same sitting) until you find your sweet spot. For most people it's pretty low. Or don't. I don't want to peer pressure you.

People, like you as youve stated, take way more than they need to. Ive had some rough times myself. A mistake a lot of people make is eating a brownie and not feeling anything for 2 hours and then saying, “frick it, ima eat another.”

And an hour later, they are fricked.

I was mesmerized by this one scene that I kept replaying it. LINK

I was also convinced this scene was some example of brilliant acting. LINK

For like two years after I made up a bunch Coughlin's laws. That film really changed me.

I hope this is on Netflix or Amazon. I haven't seen it since it came out but you've inspired me to watch it again.

Bunch of newbies in here. I’d give my grandmother 100mg and I need at least 200 mg in my edible. Sucks right now because in California they capped fhe mg limit to 100. You used to be able to by the 1000mg cookies. Now if I ate a whole one of those i’d probably sleep for twenty hours straight.

Only 25 years or so. I can smoke all day but edible tolerance doesn't have anything to do with that because it's processed differently. If I had to eat 200 mgs I'd just quit eating edibles.

We had a ski trip in Colorado several years ago and it just so happened that we arrived the day after they legalized everything. We Google a dispensary and pull up and there's like a couple people squatting outside and there's absolutely no sign on the building and I ask hey is this where I can buy some weed? One guy says he thinks so and the other literally got so freaked out that it wasn't legit and left.

Walked inside and they had huge jars of bud but the section for recreational edibles was very small as only one company at the time was certified to produce the stuff. Each container was 100 mg of THC. We bought 5 and took off.

I distinctly remember eating one box which contained 5 cookies. Then I waited an hour and didn't feel shite and ate half of another box.

I got so incredibly high that night, and mind you it was the first time I had EVER gotten high. I remember going from super giggly to sort of freaking out to full panic mode to nauseous to a state where I physically couldn't move my body. I felt like I had hundreds of pounds holding me down. I remember my other friends getting up and walking around and ordering Jimmy John's and I could only listen to them talking, but couldn't move my body.

The following year we go back to Colorado and I tell this story to a bouncer at a bar we go to who happens to own a dispensary. He tells me 10 mg is the dosage and laughs hysterically that I would ever take that much. I'm like frick dude couldn't the dude who sold me the shite have said something!?

Of course nowadays everyone in that industry is super knowledgeable and everything is more sophisticated. Funny story to tell though.

Well everyone has a different tolerance. People that retail the stuff probably are always high and have a solid tolerance, so them telling you something about how it effects them does not equate to what you or any amateur would feel.

I remember back in college at a time when I smoked, yet wasnt a big smoker, took a dab when it first was relevant. That shite would end my existence. Yet smoking regular ganja out of a bong or anything wasnt as rough. It’s so different for each individual that nobody can systematically tell you how something is gonna go for you.

Dabs frick most people up with one hit. I met my ex's cousin who lived in Hawaii. She and her boyfriend had the most insane tolerance I had ever seen from smoking all day, every day. They would literally do dabs while driving down the highway

It's really not a matter of being an amateur or not. You can be a 3 or 4 gram a day smoker and still get your arse kicked by a 50 mg edible. It depends on the person. I've eaten edibles often for years and I'm still hurting after 40 mg.

The question was "Who's dumb enough to eat food left in a hotel room".
This is Vermont.
The same state that's dumb enough to elect Bernie Sanders as their senator.
And they reproduce.
