Vermont Inn employees consume MJ edibles left by guest

Shelburne Police were called to the Inn at Shelburne Farms on Wednesday after receiving a report an employee felt ill and was lying in the parking lot.
The two employees were taken to the hospital and have since been released.
The inn’s spokeswoman said any food left behind is not to be consumed by staff and the inn’s training programs will be reviewed with employees. Police are asking that people who possess edibles keep them secure.
The edibles in this case resembled malted milk balls.
No charges will be filed against the guests.
Recreational use of marijuana will become legal in Vermont on July 1.

Edibles have gotten out of control. I was on vacation recently and someone brought a cookie that had 1,000 milligrams of THC. The normal dosage is 10. So this one cookie was enough for 100 people. Two girls ate the whole thing together. Let's just say they got way too high.

Christ. I've been smoking weed since 18 years or so, and started doing edibles in 2014, and the most I can do is ten mg at a time. 500 mg would make me pass out.

I'm good at 15-30. After that it's downhill fast. I ate a 150 mg brownie one time and almost lost my shite in The Dark Knight Rises.

My wife and I split a 150 mg cookie together not knowing how much we should take. I've been smoking just about every day since I was 14 and it is still the only time I've had a full-on panic attack in my life. I was sweating profusely and couldn't get out of my own head, and my body felt like I was gonna bust out of my skin like the bug on Men in Black.

I’ve smoked a lot of weed in my day and I never want to eat a brownie again. Took too long for it to kick in and when it did kick in my arse thought I was going to die. I have never been so paranoid in my life. I don’t understand the fascination with edibles.
