Vehicle Repair Help- 2020 Tundra

Ended up buying a 2020 Tundra a month ago.
Installed an aftermarket security system with remote start; professional install.
Noticed last night the remote kept saying a car door was unlocked. I inspected it and the passenger side front door is not locking.
I thought it might have been an issue with the security system, but after closer inspect, the system would arm but door would just not lock.
Took a look at trying to manually lock it and the button would not close all the way. I'm thinking based on Google this could be an actuator problem since there seemed to be similar problems with the 17 models.
There is power coming to the door, but something is preventing the lock from clasping; manual door lock will not close all the way- it will 3/4 close.
I'm assuming this will be covered by warranty, but does anybody have any idea what this could be?

My dad has had 3 of his locks go out on his tundra. Definitely covered by warranty.

Well lets see...Toyota has nothing but an anti theft system. My previous vehicle was left on blocks after they stole the tires and rims. So I didn't feel like that happening again.
The remote start didn't offer it on this package.
So yeah, it's not 1999. It's 2020 Toyota.

I’ve had 2 actuators go out on my 17 tundra. They are covered under warranty. If you’re a working man, my local dealership can only fix that issue during the week.

You should have bought Tundra with security system from factory (its a package), and added remote start in deal (they would use Toyota parts that are all covered under warranty). Now, your actuators are covered but dont be surprised if the aftermarket system voids them covering it. I would go to dealer 1st, then to people who installed it (you paid them, they need to guarantee there work or blast them on every media source possible)

I thought this might be the case but they’d have to prove the issue was tied specifically to the door actuator jamming/breaking/etc. There would be more cause for the warranty to be voided if there were an electrical issue, rather than an actual mechanical problem.
Federal law states they can’t just go void the warranty based on a professionally installed security and remote start system without proving it altered the ability for the product to perform. Example would be burning out the electrical system by cutting power to the doors or killing the battery.
There is some grey area, but I’m confident the dealership isn’t going to push back on a mechanical issue.
