How long should I expect to wait for the state of Louisiana to send me my plate for a car that I purchased in Texas?

The same amount of time as usual assuming that you/the dealer handled registering it properly.

The dealer did all of the paperwork and it has been over a month. I guess I will have to give them a call and see if they know anything.

Take all your paperwork to OMV across from State Police building at Independence Park and they should be able to help you.

Month and some change maybe? Louisianaa one of the only states I know of that does a 60 day temporary tag instead of a 30 day one of that days anything

I just bought in Texas in February. Took 6 weeks. That is with the dealer taking care of everything.

Uhh a few minutes?
I bought my car in Dallas, brought the title with my license and insurance card to a title place on bienville and walked out 15 minutes later with a plate and my registration.

I did save a good bit even with having to fly over, Acura dealer in BR is really proud of their vehicles. Competition is good.
