My curiosity was satisfied in about 2 hours. Research is extensive. Efficacy is high. Risks are low. I took it. This is so simple. But I don’t believe in boogeymen.

As any REAL DR (notice I say real DR, not one pretending to be a DR on social media) can tell you this is not true, it doesn't alter your DNA

Well this article from a cooky website like MSN.com says different.

LINK

"Two of the Covid-19 vaccines available in the US use messenger RNA technology to prevent or reduce the symptoms of Covid-19 infection. This mRNA vaccine technology is new; the consequences of altered DNA, if any, are unknown. However, others, including the CDC said that the virus would not interact with DNA."

Other scientists believe that mRNA vaccines can enter and permanently alter DNA. Like DNA vaccines, RNA vaccines use part of the genetic code of the virus to get the immune system to respond. "

Awwww....you trust the CDC, how cute.

DNA altering drug into MY body

I personally could care less what you do to your body (past some level of public policy). BUT if you are using the idea that any of the vaccines actually alter your DNA as any part of your cost-benefit matrix I am going to point out that it is wrong and physically impossible and will explain it if you are remotely inclined to listen. Just the same as I would speak up if you were talking about using 90 weight oil in a BMW S54 engine in the winter in upper Michigan. While I would not expect you to believe me about the lack of ability to modify DNA it might prevent someone else from taking it as fact or it might coax you into relearning some cellular biology if nothing else but in an attempt to refute my claims.

I don't care what decision people come to but I do care if they are being taken for a ride by a charlatan.

You don't trust the expert opinions when they tell you it is safe anyway.

My wife trusted her doctor of 20 years - a guy who had access to her medical records including all of her bloodwork. He still prescribed a medication that had been around for while. Instead of helping her, it landed her in the emergency room because her heart rate was off the charts.

Try convincing her that doctors should be trusted to get it right.

Then take a look at last year when doctors were late to realize that putting Covid patients on ventilators was not such a good idea.

We have a lot of reason to be skeptical of what doctors think they know.

Absolutely not. But this standard is unprecedented and I'm aware I don't HAVE to take the vaccine. Instead I'll just get fired from my job that supports my wife and kids for the last 15 years. :eyeroll:

This is coercion at a minimum and a violation of basic human rights.

Saying I don't HAVE to get the jab but I'll lose my entire career is a loophole and you know it.

there are requirements for all jobs. Every single one. So you feel Joe Bob from the woods is qualified to design airplanes? Cause he wants to and it’s his right?

This might be the stupidest analogy I've ever heard. It's not even in the same SPORT much less the same ballpark of what I'm talking about.

My company is forcing me to get the vaccine to remain employed. I work from HOME.

You ok with that?

Can't wait to see how you weasel out of this one.

They are free to run their business as they see fit. You are free to comply or seek employment elsewhere. Not sure what I need to weasel out of.

It says that mRNA could potentially be used for that. Not that these vaccines do it.

I'm not SEEKING employment. I AM employed.

It's coercion into a violation of basic human rights.

Would you be ok with a company mandating its employees to take an experimental drug? Or get a tattoo? Or change religious beliefs?

If the mandate was "all new employees must be vaxxed then fine. But to force people to alter their own bodies or lose their entire careers is unethical and immoral and you know it.

And again you ignore the question. I asked if you were ok with companies doing that.

Can they allow smoking?

In New Orleans can the businesses say you can't wear a mask in here?

the mask is off baw, you don’t have to pretend you care about the rights of private businesses.

for the greater good of the community and our country, do this or be segregated from society. right?

Sure it is. You mentioned basic human rights and mentioned employment. Not me.

So employment isn’t a basic human right as you insinuated?
